Mark Mandell, Esq.

The judge in question is Judge Catherine Steenland of the 39th District Court in Roseville. The first charge is failure to stop at the scene of a personal accident injury, which includes a one year misdemeanor. The second charge is failure to report an accident, a 90-day misdemeanor.

Police responded to a call from a 31-year-old Roseville man at about 8:30 p.m. on September 25, 2017. The man alleged that a female driving a red sedan had hit his car and then driven away without stopping or speaking to him.

The actions themselves are of course of a criminal conduct, but appears far worse when performed by a judge. A judge is expected to uphold the law and adhere to its highest standards.
