Jacquelyn M. Bona graduated in 1990 from James Madison College at Michigan State University in Social Relations and Political Theory. She went on to law school where she graduated in 1993 from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. She began working at the 18th District Court in Westland in 1995, where she spent 21 years acting as a Court Appointed Attorney for indigent defendants. On January 4, 2017, Jacquelyn joined Fausone & Grysko, PLC to become part of the team handling the Westland prosecution work.

Jacquelyn and her husband Tony have six children. They include a set of twin boys – Mitchell, a Captain in the Army, and Dominic, who works in software sales; a daughter, Allison, who works as a CNA at a dementia/Alzheimer facility; another set of twins – Joe, a student at Michigan State University, and Rachel, a student at Grand Valley State University, and the youngest son, Jimmy, a student at Albion College. The children have been actively and heavily involved in sports through the years, and so Jacquelyn has been a team mom/volunteer for many sports teams in the Livingston County area and is an active member of the Pinckney High School Booster Club. She is also an active member and volunteer at her church, St. Patrick Parish in Brighton. When possible, Jacquelyn loves to get out and enjoy the Chain of Lakes, camp, and hike with the family.
