Don specializes in commercial litigation, municipal law, probate and estate planning. He served on the Livonia City Council from 2002 to 2009. In February of 2009, Don resigned from the Livonia City Council to accept the appointment by Mayor Jack Kirksey as the Livonia City Attorney. He joined the team at Fausone Bohn in 2004, and has continued his work with the firm in addition to serving as the Livonia City Attorney. Don earned his J.D. from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. He is also a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Detroit Catholic Central High School.

Don is an extremely active member of the community. He is a past chair and member of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Alumni Society, and past member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association's Alumni Leadership Council. He is a member of the Livonia Chamber of Commerce, Livonia Kiwanis, and Monaghan Knights of Columbus.

Outside the office, Don lives in Livonia and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, and their twin daughters. Each year they take a family vacation to the east coast to spend time with relatives and enjoy the beach.
